NYPD were called to 17th Avenue near 82nd Street at approximately 6am on December 29th. According to reports an intruder demanded money and fatally stabbed the 61-year-old dad and slashed his two daughters.

On arrival police located Carlo Secondino, 61, deceased, Secondino’s 19-year-old daughter Liana, was rushed to Maimonides Hospital, where she was in critical condition, and his 22-year-old daughter Nikki was taken to NYU Langone Hospital.

Nikki was later taken into custody at NYPD’s 62nd Precinct and faces murder, attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
