NYPD responded to a 911 report of a shooting near the corner of Union Avenue and East 168th Street on January 30th at approximately 2:21pm.

Police and EMS arrived to find a man seated in the passenger seat of a Honda CRV, suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Investigators determined that the victim was shot near East 163 Street and Reverend James Polite Avenue and was driven to 1180 Union Ave where he was found. It is unclear if the victim drove himself to where he was located.

No arrests have been made and the investigation in ongoing.
