NYPD responded to a 911 report of shots fired, on March 16th at approximately 2:58pm. On arrival, police located a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his right shoulder, chest, lower abdomen, both arms and both legs.

Police said both the victim and assailant were inside a van with others when it pulled up to E. 172nd St. and Harrod Ave. according to reports and argument broke out between the two just before 3:00 on March 16th.

The victim, 18-year-old Dellin Scarlett was rushed to  Jacobi Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
