NYPD responded to a shooting outside an apartment on East 170th Street on January 1st.

On arrival police located 46-year-old Mario Fowler suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital where he died of his injuries.

No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
