NYPD responded to a 911 call regarding a past assault on March 1st, at the Overlook Apartments at 240 West 167th St.

Police arrived at the scene to find a 38-year-old woman unconscious and unresponsive with trauma to her body. She was pronounced at the scene.

Police said the victim’s boyfriend had been taken into custody and is being questioned on an unrelated matter.
