NYPD were called to an apartment at 1500 Hornell Loop on January 19th at approximately 7:02 p.m.

On arrival police located Donna Hyman, 58, and her 36-year-old son stabbed multiple times in the torso, inside a unit of the building. Hyman was pronounced deceased at the scene. Her son was rushed to Brookdale University Hospital in Critical Condition.
