Update Charges laid – NYPD investigate the homicide of Georgia Alonza at a Harlem apartment

NYPD responded to a 911 call to the Harlem’s St. Nicholas Houses at 200 West 131st St on March 26th at 9:04 p.m. 

On arrival police located 24-year-old Georgia Alonza, suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso. Alonza was rushed to NYC Health & Hospitals/Harlem where he died of his injuries the following day.

Police are searching for two men with dark complexions, wearing ski masks, who fled on foot. Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).

Update April 27th
NYPD announced on April 27th that 19-year-old Zaire Allen, from Philadelphia, has been charged with murder.
