NUPD responded to Drew Street and 101st Avenue, on September 7th at 5:40 p.m where they located a 42-year-old woman and 46-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds to their heads.

Police performed lifesaving measures before the pair were rushed to Jamaica Hospital where they were later pronounced deceased.

Police said the deceased were a couple, and a handgun was recovered at the scene. Investigators say it is unclear who pulled the trigger.
