NYPD responded to a wellness check at to a home on Amador Street on August 13th at around 12:30 p.m where they located Priscilla Scarpati, 36, suffering from multiple stab wounds.

Police said her boyfriend (identified by The New York Post as James Guidonewas,) was unconscious, with no visible signs of trauma. Both were pronounced dead at the scene

Police have not said if the death were the result of a murder suicide. The investigation remains ongoing.
