The NYC 2023 Homicide Victim List is available here

NYPD responded to a shooting at 1418 Brooklyn Ave. at approximately 10:39 p.m. on October 29th.

On arrival police located the victims ages 27 and 47, in the hallway of the 4th floor, suffering from gunshot wounds to the head and torso. Both men were pronounced deceased at the scene.

They have been identified as 47-year-old Bladimy Mathurin and his 27-year-old stepson, Mode Chinwai.

Jason Pass, 47, was shot and killed by police on November 1st after he lunged at them with a knife, Pass was rushed to NYU Langone Brooklyn where he was pronounced dead.
