NYPD responded to the report of shots fired at 2355 Batchelder Street on Monday March 20th just at 11:00p.m.

Police arrived to find a 37-year-old man suffering from gunshot injuries to his head in the first-floor stairwell of the Apartment building. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. Police have not released his identity at this time.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
