NYPD responded to a shooting at 494 East 138 St on June 12 at around 9 p.m.

On arrival police located a 44-year-old injured man, suffering from a gunshot wound to his head. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. His identity has not been released at this time.

No arrests have been made. A firearm was recovered at the scene.
