The NYC 2023 Homicide Victim List is available here

NYPD responded to a shooting in front of an apartment building at 2693 Morris Ave on September 29th at approximately 1:17am.

On arrival police located two men suffering from gunshot wounds. The men were rushed to hospital where Alvin Ortiz, 33, died of his injuries.

No arrests have been made. Police are searching for a female suspect.
