The 2024 Homicide Victim List is available here

NYPD were called to the Sumner Houses on July 13th at approximately 6:26 p.m.

On arrival police located 32-year-old Deon Williams, suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso. He was rushed to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.

Update: Aaron Granton, was arrested on July 27 at around 3:10 a.m. He was charged with second-degree murder and two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
