The NYC 2023 Homicide Victim List is available here

NYPD were called to an apartment building at 1070 Elder Ave. on September 2, at at about 2:38 a.m.

On arrival police and paramedics located 24-year-old Henry Reyes of Elder Avenue, shot in the chest. He was rushed to Reyes to Jacobi Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Police are searching for a person of interest who fled the scene in a blue Jeep Wrangler traveling northbound on Elder Avenue.
