Police responded to a shooting near 10 Meserole St. on March 11th at approximately 2:20pm.

On arrival police located 21-year-old Joharis Rivas suffering from gunshot injuries. He was taken to Elmhurst Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
