Police were called to a report of a shooting near the corner of Loring Place and West Burnside Avenue on July 3rd at approximately  9:59 p.m.

On arrival police located two injured men. 30-year-old Jonathan Cameron was suffering from gunshot wounds to his body and a 19-year-old with a gunshot wound to his head. Both men were rushed to hospital where Cameron died of his injuries.

No arrests have been made, and police have not released any suspect information. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
