NYPD investigates the fatal stabbing of a man in Harlem

At around 5:27 a.m. on May 3, officers from the NYPD’s 32nd Precinct responded to a 911 call reporting an assault in progress at 2640 Frederick Douglass Boulevard in Harlem. Upon arrival, they discovered a 33-year-old man who had been stabbed multiple times in the back.

According to the initial investigation, the victim was attacked following a verbal altercation with four male suspects. The cause of the dispute is still unclear.

Paramedics transported the man to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, where he was pronounced deceased. Authorities are withholding his identity until his family can be notified.

As of now, no arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing. Police have released descriptions of the four suspects: one wore a red hat and denim, another was dressed entirely in black, a third suspect wore a blue hat, white shirt, and jeans, while the fourth was seen in a black t-shirt and blue jeans.
