NYPD were called to the report of an unresponsive woman at 647 Cauldwell Ave. in the Bronx at approximately 12:43 p.m. on March 22nd.

Police found Lissette Gomez, 38, deceased with facial and neck injuries. She was pronounced deceased at the scene. Police said an extension cord was recovered from the scene, but they are unsure whether that was the instrument used to choke her to death.
