The NYC 2023 Homicide Victim List is available here

NYPD and FDNY were called to the fourth floor of 328 West 86 St. at approximately 2:56 p.m on August 28th. Firefighters broke into the apartment and discovered a woman deceased beside the bodies of her two children in the hallway.

The deceased include 41-year-old Edison Lopez stabbed his 40-year-old partner Alexandra Witek to death along with their 3-year-old son Lucien Lopez and 1-year-old baby boy Calvin Lopez. According to reports Police said that the youngest Calvin was stabbed multiple times and Lucian had stab wounds to the torso. Witek had several stab wounds along with her throat slit. A kitchen knife was found beside their bodies. 

Police indicated that 41-year-old Edison Lopez was located on a bed next to a knife, with a single, slash to his neck. Police said that Edison Lopez had killed all three, and then himself.
