NYPD responded to a stabbing in front of 945 Underhill Ave. in Soundview on June 5th at approximately 2:39 a.m.

On arrival police located Darryl Sargent, 37, outside his home suffering from a stab wound to the chest. He was rushed to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi where he died of his injuries.
