NYPD responded to the report of an assault in progress at College Avenue and East 170th Street on August 8th at approximately 2:42 a.m.

On arrival police and paramedics located two men suffering from multiple stab wounds. The men were rushed to NYC Health and Hospital/Lincoln where one man died of his injuries. Police said the second victim, a 47-year-old man is in stable condition.

No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
