The NYC 2022 Homicide Victim List is available here

NYPD were called to a shooting at the Gourmet Deli near East Tremont Avenue and Southern Boulevard on December 27th at 6:36 p.m.

On arrival police located 4 injured victims who were rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital where a 28-year-old, was pronounced deceased from a gunshot wound to the chest. The other victims a 27-year-old man who suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and a 46-year-old man who was shot in the torso are not expected to survive their injuries. The fourth victim, a 25-year-old man suffered a non-life-threatening wound to the arm.

Police said the suspect who fled westbound on East Tremont Avenue on foot, has been describe as a male with a dark complexion, dreadlocks. No arrests have been made.
