Update: Charges laid – One dead and two injured in a Brooklyn stabbing

NYPD were called to 107 Knickerbocker Ave. in the East Williamsburg on March 18th at approximately 3:09 a.m. 

On arrival police located a 24-year-old man stabbed in the neck, and a 26-year-old man who suffered a stab wound to his torso. Both victims were rushed to Elmhurst Hospital, where the 24-year-old victim was pronounced deceased. Police then learned of a third victim, a 21-year-old man, who walked to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center with stab wounds to his torso.

Update: 19-year-old Joan Chicaiza and a 17-year-old minor have been arrested and charged in relation to the stabbing incident. Chicaiza, is charged with two counts of reckless endangerment, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon and the minor has been charged with murder, two counts of attempted murder and three counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
