NYPD responded to a shooting in the area of East Burnside Avenue and Anthony Avenue in Tremont on July 23 at approximately 2:44 a.m.

On arrival police located three men suffering from gunshot injuries. A 34-year-old man was shot in the torso, a 23-year-old was shot in the leg and a 37-year-old man was shot in the foot. All three were rushed to hospital where the 34-year-old victim was pronounced deceased.

According to reports, Police said the firearm was recovered at the scene. Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
