NYPD responded to a 911 call of shots fired in front of 55 Bowen S on July 16th at approximately 10:20pm.

Police and paramedic located a 44-year-old man shot in the left armpit and a 28-year-old man who had been shot in the leg. Both men were rushed to Staten Island University Hospital North where the older victim died of his injuries. The second victim is in stable condition.

No arrests have been made at this time.
