Clemson Cockfield was fatally stabbed and two are injured in an East Village triple-stabbing

NYPD said they were called to a stabbing in the area of 14th Street and Avenue A to 13th Street and 1st Avenue, on June 23rd at approximately 5:53 p.m.

On arrival police and paramedics located a 31-year-old with a stab wound to his back, a 52-year-old female with a stab wound to her leg, and Clemson Cockfield who was stabbed in the neck.

The three victims were rushed to Bellevue Hospital where Cockfield died of his injuries, authorities said.

Alejandro Piedra, 30, was taken into custody at the scene, police have not announced what charges he may be facing
