The NYC 2023 Homicide Victim List is available here

NYPD responded to the report of an unconscious woman inside of a 91st Street home at approximately 8:20 p.m. on May 17th.

On arrival police and paramedics located 78-year-old Luz Porras unresponsive at the bottom of a staircase suffering from trauma to her face. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Following questioning, police arrested Ovidio Porras, 86, The victim’s husband. He facing charges of murder, tampering with physical evidence and criminal contempt in connection with the death of his wife.
