NYPD were called to a shooting in the area of 101 Osborne Street, on May 18th at at about 10:57 p.m.

On arrival police located Lamont Russell with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest and a 28-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the hand. Both men were taken to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center where Russell died of his injuries.

According to reports, Russell was arrested for shooting a rival on the same street corner in 2019.
