The NYC 2023 Homicide Victim List is available here

NYPD responded to a shooting at Pratt Ave. near Strang Ave. on January 18th at approximately 8:50pm.

On arrival police located Nicholas Lewis, 21, suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest in the cellar hallway by the stairs leading to the rear yard. Lewis was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center, where he died of his injuries.

Lewis was not known to the police and no arrests have been made at this time.
