Police were called to the corner of East 53rd Street and Avenue K on August 7th at approximately 8:01 a.m.

On arrival police located a 45-year-old man, suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was rushed to Brookdale University Hospital where he died of his injuries.

Police are searching for a suspect who was wearing all-black clothing and fled on foot. Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1–800–577–TIPS (8477)
