Update: Ex-boyfriend of the victim’s girlfriend charged – Police investigate the fatal stabbing of Michael Izquierdo in a parked SUV in Queens

NYPD were called to the report of an injured man the corner of Woodhaven Boulevard and Atlantic Avenue in on February 27th at around 8:10 p.m.

Police said the 25-year-old victim was located in a Subaru Outback suffering from stab wounds to his torso. The victim who has not been named does not have a criminal record.

The victim was rushed to Jamacia Hospital where he died of his injuries at 1:57 a.m on February 28th.

Update March 7th
Semair Taylor, 25, of Queens was arrested on March 6th and charged with murder in relation to the Feb. 27 homicide of Michael Izquierdo. Police believe the motive was a feud over money.
