The NYC 2023 Homicide Victim List is available here

NYPD were called to the report of a stabbing in the area of at West 23rd Street and Mermaid Avenue in Coney Island around 2:10 p.m on April 9th.

On arrival police located Kristian Vargas, 23, with stab wounds to his torso. He was rushed to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn, where he died of his injuries.
