The NYC 2023 Homicide Victim List is available here

NYPD responded to an assault at the corner of White Plains Road and East 220th Street on July 7th at approximately 9:35 p.m.

On arrival, police located a 39-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds to her torso. She was rushed Jacobi Hospital, where she died of her injuries. Her identity has not been released.

Police have not released a suspect descriptor or any possible motive in the attack. Police believe the victim was unaccompanied at the time of the attack. Anyone with information regarding the homicide can call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
