NYPD were called to the corner of Sacket Ave. and Williamsbridge Road just after 5:35 p.m on June 9th on the report of a shooting.

On arrival police and paramedics located 29-year-old Kelvin Sims suffering from gunshot wounds to his head and chest. He was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center, where he died of his injuries.

Investigators said A firearm was recovered at the scene.

Police are still searching for two gunmen, who fled the scene after the fatal shooting. One of the men was clad all in black and the other was wearing a gray T-shirt and camouflage pants.
