NYPD were called to a home located on 159th Avenue and 102nd Street on September 13th at 11:39 p.m.

On arrival police located 76-year-old John Muraco suffering from multiple stab wounds to his chest. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police took 25-year-old Carl Muraco into custody for questioning and later charged him with murder and criminal possession of a weapon. Authorities have not yet released a motive for the killing.
