Queens youth counselor Sheldon Johnson, charged with the murder of Collin Small

NYPD conducted a wellness check in a Bronx apartment on March 5th after neighbors reported hearing gunshots to the super, who then contacted the police.

According to reports surveillance footage shows Collin Small entering his Highbridge apartment on Tuesday. A day later, Sheldon Johnson was found inside Small’s Summit Avenue apartment with a human torso in a blue bin and a head in a freezer. Johnson was seen on surveillance with a large blue bin, cleaning supplies and later wearing a blonde wig.

The victim has been identified as 44-year-old Collin Small.

The cause of death has not been determined.

Johnson has been arrested and charged with murder. He was held without bail at his arraignment March 7th.
