The NYC 2023 Homicide Victim List is available here

NYPD were called to the report of an assault in progress, in the area of East 10th Street and Avenue C, on May 27th at approximately 10:14 p.m.

On arrival police located Michael Gillegbower, 31, suffering from multiple stab wounds. Gillegbower was rushed to Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. 

Police then located Quon Alford, 28, suffering from a stab wound to the back. Alford was arrested and taken Bellevue Hospital for treatment of his injuries. Alford has been charged with manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.
