The NYC 2023 Homicide Victim List is available here

Police were called to a shooting at 2256 Morris Avenue on July 5th at approximately 2:20am.

On arrival. police located two teens, an 18-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his leg and a 19-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his hip. Both teens were rushed to Saint Barnabas Hospital where the 18-year-old was pronounced deceased.

Police said Ramon Santos, 28, and Ariel Velasquez, 19, were arrested shortly after and charged with murder, attempted murder.
