The NYC 2022 Homicide Victim List is available here

NYPD responded to a stabbing at a soccer field in Fort Washington Park on July 24th at around 3:53pm.

On arrival police located Ricardo Sanchez, 29, of Brooklyn suffering from multiple stab wounds to the chest, arm and neck. Sanchez was rushed to Mount Sinai-St. Luke’s Hospital where he died of his injuries.

Police arrested Ronald Guilcapi, 24, in relation to the murder. Guilcapi initially fled the scene and was arrested shortly after and charged with murder.
