Robber killed after the victim of the robbery reportedly used martial Arts moves on the attacker

NYPD responded to a 911 call of a gunpoint robbery in progress at Pacific Avenue and St. Albans Place on September 11th at approximately 2:00am.

Police arrived to find the 33-year-old would-be robber unconscious and unresponsive.

According to reports the robber displayed what appeared to be a firearm and demanded money, but the firearm turned out to be a BB gun.

The attempted robbery victims, both 29, did a martial-art move to knock the gun away and physically subdue the deceased until police arrived. The robber lost consciousness and was rushed to Staten Island University Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

The deceased was known to authorites.
