Ronald Thomas, of Virginia fatally shot in broad daylight on the Upper West Side

According to reports 27-year-old Ronald Thomas was in a heated argument with a woman on W.102 St. near Amsterdam Ave on May 1st at approximately 12:15 p.m.

The suspect pulled up in a vehicle to the cul-de-sac outside the Frederick Douglass Houses about 12:15 p.m and shot Thomas in the head inside a white Mercedes SUV.

Police said Thomas was originally from the Bronx but was just visiting his cousin when the slaying occurred.

Update August 16th
NYPD arrested Donta King, 24, of the Upper West Side, on August 15th . He was charged with murder, assault, reckless endangerment, and criminal use of a firearm.
