NYPS were called to a home in the 9000 block of 95th Avenue on February 15th at approximately 12:32 a.m. 

On arrival police located Rosa Cruz, 58, deceased in the kitchen. According to reports Cruz had visible trauma to her neck and arms. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Investigators said a person has been taken in for questioning.

No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
