Sabrina Charles charged with beating a man to death with a wooden object in Harlem

Police were called to an assault in progress at 19 Hancock Place in Harlem on July 2nd at approximately  4:25 a.m.

On arrival police located a man unresponsive on the sidewalk, bleeding from his face. According to reports he had been beaten by a woman with a wooden blunt object that was located next to the victim.

He was rushed to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital where he died of his injuries. 

Sabrina Charles, was arrested on July 2 at 6:10 p.m, and charged with second-degree murder. Police have not said if the victim and the accused were known to each other.
