Senior charged after 17-year-old Carlos Rivas fatally stabbed, and two others injured at a Harlem Bodega

NYPD were called to an assault at a bodega at the corner of East 108th Street and 2nd Avenue in East Harlem on January 3rd at approximately 6:13pm.

On arrival police and EMS located three people suffering from stabbing injuries. 17-year-old Carlos Rivas was located suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was rushed to Harlem Hospital where he died of his injuries. The other two victims were a 22-year-old man who suffered a stab wound to the left arm, and a 62-year-old man with a forehead wound.

Saul Sanchez, 62, was arrested on January 4th and charged with second-degree murder and assault.
