NYPD were alerted by a social worker of the body of a woman found in a body at a Brooklyn Apartment on Linden Boulevard on November 3rd at approximately 12:15 p.m.

EMS declared Shirley Awer, 67, deceased at the scene. Police said no weapons were involved in the murder, however, there was visible trauma. The Office of Chief Medical Examiner of the City of New York will determine the cause of death.

David Drummond, 30, the victim’s son was arrested and is facing a murder charge.
