Tamir Khan, charged with two counts of manslaughter in relation to a Queens crash

NYPD said Tamir Khan, 22, was traveling northbound on 117th Street in South Ozone Park on June 5th at approximately 4:25 am when he collided with another vehicle causing the second vehicle to hit a pole.

On arrival police and paramedics located the driver, John Inderdeo, 64, and the passenger, 71-year-old Charles Harris in serious condition. The victims were rushed to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center where they both succumbed to their injuries.

Police said Khan continued driving following the crash and struck two empty parked cars.

Police arrested and charged Khan with manslaughter, vehicular manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide and driving while intoxicated.
