NYPD were called to the Ingersoll Houses at 64 St Edwards St on April 21st at 11:05pm.

On arrival police located an 18-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. he was rushed to Methodist Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Police have taken a person of interest into custody.
