NYPD said Sakani Kamagate 16 months old was discovered unconscious on a bed inside his home on Hamilton Avenue, on February 20th at approximately 4 a.m.

Paramedics located Sakani Kamagate with no visible signs of trauma and rushed him to Richmond University Medical Center where he died of his injuries.

Investigators said the toddler died of acute intoxication of fentanyl and cocaine, and the manner of death is a homicide.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
