Police were called to the report of a shooting in the Brookville neighborhood on August 7th at approximately 6:17pm.

Police arrived to find Tysheem McDonald, 18, suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest outside of the home. McDonald was rushed Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. A second man was also shot, however, he is in stable condition.

According to reports, the two men were inside a white car heading north on 147th Avenue near 231st Street in the Brookville neighborhood when a suspect fired at them from a grey sedan.

No arrests have been made, and police said the second victim is being uncooperative.
